BT phone and broadband price hikes – April 2017

BT phone and broadband price hikes – April 20172018-09-03T11:46:45+00:00

Following on from their most recent price increase 6 months ago, BT have announced they will be increasing the cost of broadband and calls again from 2 April 2017. If you are a current BT customer you will shortly be receiving notification of this via a letter on 27th January.

However, those affected can likely leave their BT contract penalty-free as under Ofcom rules, any customer who is unhappy with the price changes on their contract has 30 days to opt out once they have been informed by BT.

What are the likely price rises from BT?

  • Anytime calls up by 49p to £8.99 a month
  • Broadband up by £2 a month
  • Super-fast Infinity broadband up by £2.50 a month
