Talent Management Advisor

Reporting to: Managing Director

Location: London/Tunbridge Wells with regular client visits

This is a brand new role within the our friendly and forward thinking HR department. We are looking for somebody with experience in HR who can drive our internal projects with a real focus on our employee’s and talent management. You will have real autonomy to make this role your own and bring improvements to the business.


• Responsible for ensuring induction programmes are in place and followed

Working with managers to create induction and learning plans

Assisting the HR & Compliance Assistant in completing New Starter Process activities

Raw Talent Acquisition:

Implement and maintain pipeline schemes for key technical roles pipelines, including recruitment and relevant training and development programmes

Implement and maintain career progression schemes for main internal career paths

Implement succession planning for key roles

Identify specific retention strategy for key talent

Candidate Attraction and retention

Support Head of HR in implementing and embedding Retention projects. Some examples:

  • New Company Values
  • Employee Value Proposition including Social Media communication
  • Evaluation of current remuneration and benefits package
  • Staff engagement projects
  • Internal communication including intranet

Learning and Development

Implement and maintain learning plans for every role in the business


Keep knowledge up to date in the area of Talent Management

  • Current trends
  • Law changes
  • Latest Research
  • Champion HR best practice in all areas of responsibilities
  • Champion Company Values

Required Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience of talent management/HR projects
  • Experience or interest/skills in learning and development
  • Ideally CIPD qualified
  • Ideally some recruitment experience
  • Fully committed to demonstrating HR best practice
  • Keen to learn
  • Keen to take on responsibilities but does not mind doing the little things too (small business)
  • Able to create and follow processes
  • Good attention to detail
  • Able to organise information and data and maintain organised systems
  • Communication – Comfortable speaking to people at all levels of the business
  • Confidentiality
  • Able work well within a small team
