We had a fantastic time attending the Kent Excellence in Business Awards 2017 awards ceremony held at the Kent Showground in Detling Kent. After our entries were submitted alongside 300 others, we were put through a rigorous judging process where we were requested to present a 1 hour presentation to each of the judges. We were chuffed to be selected as finalists for two award categories ‘Large Business of the Year’ and the ‘Customer Service Award’ and we had everything crossed our hard work throughout 2016 would pay off on the night. Much to our surprise, we were absolutely delighted (and left speechless!) to be crowned as winners of the Large Business of the Year category up against two very well known Kent businesses Childrensalon and AH Goatham & Sons. As if that wasn’t enough excitement, we then went on to also win the Customer Service Award sponsored by Maidstone based Towergate Insurance. We couldn’t be more proud winning these two awards at the #KEiBA2017 business awards. Thanks to the KM Messenger and Kent County Council for putting on such a fantastic event which was thoroughly enjoyed by all 600 attendees. Here are the judges’ comments KEiBA Customer Service Award “It was a close run contest for the winner of this category but one business stood out from the rest: Infinity Group. The company provide award winning – IT Support and Telecoms services and were clearly able to demonstrate their excellence in all aspects of their business. The business and its key management team have come a long way in a short period of time and their transition from a small business into a large business has been achieved with fantastic leadership and well thought out plans” KEiBA Large Business of the Year “What we saw when judging this category was exemplary as expected. Each of the 6 finalists showed a real passion for putting the customer first, not just as a marketing line but in the measures taken daily to deliver a high-quality service. The winner Infinity Group was absolutely excellent”.
