After winning a significant rehabilitation tender with the Ministry of Justice, Catch22 needed to mitigate the risk of offenders re-offending. This will involve looking at each individual’s finances, benefits, and debt status. The individual will then be assigned a case worker to support their emotional and mental well-being and work with them to improve their outlook and opportunities.

Catch22 needed a way to track and report the transformational journey of the offenders taking part in the programme. With up to 4,000 participants set to go through the programme each year, Catch22 needed an app that could manage thousands of individual
cases and deliver outputs directly to the Ministry of Justice.

Catch22 chose Infinity Group as their partner to support and facilitate this important social programme using Microsoft technologies.

The solution_

Infinity Group developed a bespoke solution using Microsoft Power Apps to help Catch22 manage and monitor the rehabilitation journeys of up to 4,000 programme participants each year. The application was designed to capture information in the field, track progress throughout the programme and generate the reporting required by the Ministry of Justice, all within a single, easy-to-use platform.

Given the complexity of each participant’s circumstances, the solution incorporated conditional logic to guide users through different pathways based on individual needs and responses. This enabled case workers to collect consistent information while adapting the experience to each case, helping improve both efficiency and data quality.

The solution was underpinned by Microsoft Dataverse for secure data storage and integrated with Power BI to transform operational data into meaningful insights. Catch22 gained the ability to analyse programme performance at scale, drill down into individual cases where required and produce reporting more efficiently, all while maintaining strong data security and governance controls.
