What licenses do you need to activate Microsoft 365 Business Voice?

Microsoft 365 Business Voice can only be added to existing Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscriptions that include Microsoft Teams; qualifying plans include Office 365 Business Essentials, Business Premium, E1, E3, A3, or A3; Microsoft 365 Business, E3, or A3 for up to 300 users. You cannot purchase Microsoft Business Voice without an existing Office 365 or Microsoft 365 subscription.Microsoft 365 Business Voice includes the phone system, audio conferencing and domestic calling with international calling available as an add on.


How to make a video/group call on Microsoft Teams?

  1. Go to your chat list and click New Chat to start a new conversation.
  2. Type the name or names into the To field at the top of your new chat.
  3. Then click Video call or Audio call to start

How to set up a Microsoft Teams conference call?

  1. Go into your calendar and click New Meeting in the top right-hand.
  2. Type in the title of your meeting in the top bar.
  3. In the second bar, add everyone who is required in your meeting and a date and time.
  4. Click Save and Microsoft Teams will send out the email invites.

Yes, existing phone numbers can be easily transferred from your current supplier to Business Voice. Once your phone numbers are ported, Microsoft will then become your service provider.
