Swingers Golf employ 120 staff spanning two large sites in London and has plans to open up new clubs in the imminent future. Each club is over 16,000 sq/ft and has the capacity for 500 people at any one time. With their target audience the corporate market it was imperative they had a state of the art network solution that could be centrally managed across all sites as well as a reputable Managed IT Support provider.

We were referred to Swingers by another large client of ours in London and have designed and installed the entire Cisco Meraki solution for their newest site in the heart of London’s West End. Infinity Group are their chosen IT Support provider who provide both their clubs with IT Consultancy and IT Support their original club located at the Gherkin which is 20,000 sq/ft.

The brief was to provide a full network and IT Solution and provide IT Support to all sites including their Head Office in Aldgate.

Our Solution

Our IT Solution architects completed a full survey of their original club at the Gherkin, to gather the intricacies of the current IT Network and setup. The survey provided us with a comprehensive understanding of the network itself to ensure we could best support it and also enabled us to analyse the current setup and recommend improvements that could be incorporated to their new Oxford Street club.

For optimum efficiency at the new site we installed a number of products including Cisco Meraki, state of the art hardware and voice solutions to provide a fully functional, secure and reliable IT Network that can be easily managed by both us and the client around the clock.

Wireless – Provision of state of the art Cisco Meraki wireless Infrastructure. As a market leading brand, we chose the product for it high reliability, throughput speeds and reporting capabilities, also it’s cloud managed so we are able to monitor and manage both these large London sites with ease.

Security & Access Control Solution – Management and monitoring  of a full security and door access solution which offers top security, streamlined management system with a host of other end user accessible benefits and reports.

 Voice & data cabling infrastructure – Installation of a full cat6e LSOH UTP cabling and network points for Voice and multiple data services, terminating through various locations to the central 42U cabinet.

IT hardware and software provision – Installation of a domain controller to manage user profiles and secure business data. Housing a virtual server environment to run various applications to reduce costs and minimise point failure coupled with an automatic cloud back up using Microsoft Azure

Fully retained Support Services – Providing award winning ongoing IT Support for both the Swingers Clubs and Head Office.

Managed delivery and consolidation of services – Managed approach to delivery of all services through a core Project Manager and team using a Prince2 approach.  Estate consolidation of services and support, enhancing fluidity and support structure to the Swingers Group. Along with the end user information and reporting facilities, Swingers can actively monitor & manage their staff and estate with ease.

Office 365 Deployment – Microsoft Office 365 Deployment included the migration of Email from Google Mail to Microsoft 365, migration of all company documents to SharePoint and Microsoft Teams across both the UK and US.

Microsoft Teams Voice – We implemented Microsoft 365 Business Voice across their sites to enable calling within Microsoft Teams.
