At the recent Microsoft Ignite event Microsoft announced several new features for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Teams integration.
Contextual Chats
The Wave 1 release will see contextual chats coming to Sales, Customer Service and Field Service giving users the ability collaborate to further on important opportunities, cases and work orders.
Microsoft Teams calling
The release will also bring Microsoft Teams calling directly to Dynamics 365.
In the dialler window users will be able to see real time transcriptions of the calls will business keyword identified.
When the call has finished a summary is produced with follow up actions, ability to play the call back, sentiment analysis, key topics discussed as well as the full transcription.
The call summary produced in near real time allowing manager to be able to identify and act upon trends more quickly.
Search for Dynamics records from within Teams
Deeper integration within Microsoft Teams itself will also be coming with users able to search for and share Dynamics 365 records allowing colleagues to be able to view and edit the record directly from within the Teams conversation.
Plan and manage webinars
Webinars can be planned from within Dynamics 365 Marketing and distributed used in the URL. Alternatively, a webinar can be scheduled from within team where planners have the ability to require attendees to complete a registration form.
Marketeers will be able to see a summary of registrations and attendees as well as their interactions.
Following on from the event users can link straight to Dynamics Marketing.
Segments will be created automatically for registrations, attendees and cancellations to create customised journeys.
