Spectroscopists around the globe have depended continually upon Specac for innovative products that keep pace with the changing needs of their markets.  They employ around 60 people worldwide with offices in the U.S.A, the U.K and also a network of distributors and dealers.

Our Solution

We installed a Mitel MiVoice Office system with a MiCollab server. The Mitel MiVoice system was configured with SIP trunks to facilitate savings on their current call costs as well as allowing them to have DDI numbers for remote sales offices that were not part of their current area code. The MiCollab server allowed users to have a client on their smart phones which used the existing company WiFi. This negated the need for expensive cabling and cell stations to provide coverage for cordless handsets. The mobile clients could also be configured so that they could work outside of the office environment.

A second system was installed in their new office in the United States. Calls can now be routed between sites for no additional cost just by dialling the extension number required. This system can also connect to the MiCollab server allowing them access to the same mobile clients as the UK system.
